Title: Social Media Specialist 

Type: W2, contract (6-12+ months) 

Pay Rate: $40-$50/hr

Location: 90% remote (travel to Irvine, Perris, LA will be required)

JOB SUMMARY

Work with the Global Social Media Manager to develop and execute social media strategies, creating and managing content, monitoring and analyzing performance, and fostering community engagement. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and manage social media advertising campaigns. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Create, curate, and develop concepts for user generated content for various social media platforms, and pilot emerging channels. 

·       Promote products on-camera. 

·       Create and manage a social media content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting. 

·       Conduct market research and analyze competitor activities to identify opportunities. 

·       Ensure content is informative, appealing, and consistent with the brand's voice and style. 

·       Manage social media content publishing using scheduling tools. 

·       Oversee the design of visual elements like cover images and profile pictures. 

·       Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions.

·       Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster a positive online community.

·       Manage online reputation and handle crisis communications effectively.

·       Track and analyze social media performance using relevant tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-specific analytics). 

·       Prepare regular reports on social media performance, highlighting key insights and recommendations. 

·       Stay informed about the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices. 

Other Responsibilities: 

·       Collaborate with other teams (marketing, sales, product development) to ensure cohesive branding and messaging. 

·       Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress towards achieving them. 

·       Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget and performance tracking. 

·       May be involved in hiring and training other social media team members.
