Position Summary
The Business Systems Analyst II partners with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements in support of project initiatives. This role translates business needs into functional solutions and supports execution across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and system solutions
- Support project lifecycle phases including requirements elicitation, design, testing, and implementation
- Perform data profiling, validation, and analysis across multiple systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align business objectives and technical deliverables
- Ensure timely execution of project milestones and deliverables
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience
- Experience with cloud data architecture
- Ability to analyze and interpret data across multiple disparate systems
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL and database structures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows environments
- Strong communication skills across technical and business stakeholders
- Experience with collaboration tools such as SharePoint and OneDrive
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the metals or industrial manufacturing industry
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Familiarity with client/server architecture and internet-based systems
- Ability to learn and implement new systems and functionality
