Title: Social Media Analyst (Remote)

Position Summary

The Part-Time Social Analyst supports programming and social media teams by gathering, organizing, and reporting on social performance across key platforms. This role focuses on delivering consistent reporting, identifying actionable insights, and informing content strategy through data-driven analysis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Produce weekly and monthly social performance reports across owned channels and priority initiatives
  • Analyze KPIs including views, engagement, retention, sentiment, and share of voice
  • Monitor competitor and industry activity to identify trends and benchmarks
  • Support deep-dive analytics across campaign lifecycles (pre-launch, live, post-launch)
  • Extract and clean data from platforms including Sprinklr, Tubular, CrowdTangle, and native analytics tools
  • Translate data into clear insights and recommendations for programming teams


Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in social analytics, reporting, or relevant internship experience
  • Understanding of major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Sprinklr, YouTube Analytics, Meta Insights, and Google Analytics
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to communicate data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience supporting content or programming teams
  • Interest in audience behavior and content performance analysis
  • Curiosity and proactive mindset toward identifying trends and insights
